FAQ
The questions we get before anyone signs anything.
Including the awkward ones. If the answer you need is not here, ask it directly and you will get it in writing.
Working together
How do engagements start?
With a written brief from you and a written reply from us, then a call. Almost every engagement then begins with the four-week fixed-scope audit, because it is the cheapest way for both sides to find out whether this is a fit. If you only ever buy the audit, that is a legitimate outcome and the findings document is yours.
What does it cost?
There is no public rate card, and we would rather say that plainly than publish a number that is wrong for most readers. A fixed-scope audit of one app on one store and a retained programme across two platforms and six markets are different purchases by an order of magnitude. Send the brief and you get a scoped quote in USD in writing — scope, exclusions, term, notice period — before anything starts.
How long is the commitment?
The audit is fixed in scope and ends when the document is delivered. Retained work runs on a quarterly term with a notice period stated in the contract. We do not ask for a twelve-month lock, because a retainer that has to be enforced has already stopped working.
Will you work alongside our existing agency or in-house team?
Often, yes. A common arrangement is that we own measurement and the store surfaces while an in-house team or an incumbent agency keeps day-to-day media buying. What we will not do is run a workstream whose numbers we do not control and be held to them — so the split gets written into the scope.
How small is too small?
If you are not yet spending on paid user acquisition, most of what we do is premature and the audit would tell you so. The work earns its fee when there is enough spend and enough volume that a measurement error is expensive and a SKAN tier is reachable.
Measurement and platforms
Which MMP should we use?
It depends on your stack, your contract position and what you actually need — owned-channel linking, cross-platform reporting, CTV, raw-data economics at your volume. We work across AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular, Kochava, Tenjin and Airbridge, we are paid by you and not by any of them, and we have no referral arrangement with any vendor. The recommendation comes with reasoning, and the decision is yours.
Are you a certified partner of any of these platforms?
No. Goloporim is an independent consultancy. We implement, operate and audit these platforms inside your accounts and under your contracts, and we do not display partner badges, certifications or accreditations — including ones that can be obtained simply by asking.
Can you migrate us from one MMP to another?
Yes, and the honest version takes longer than the vendor timeline. We dual-run both platforms through a defined overlap period and produce a variance report before the cutover, so the switch is a decision supported by data rather than a leap you discover was wrong a month later.
Our iOS and Android numbers disagree. Can you tell us which is right?
Usually both are internally correct and measuring different things — a SKAN postback with a six-bit conversion value arriving up to 35 days late is not comparable to a deterministic Android install credited in real time. The audit traces an install end to end on both platforms and tells you what each number can and cannot answer. That is normally more useful than picking a winner.
Do you need engineering time from us?
For the audit, almost none — read access and one conversation. For implementation, yes: schema changes, server-to-server events and SDK work are code, and they need one named engineer who can ship. We write the specification; your team ships it, or your vendor does.
Ownership and reporting
Who owns the ad accounts, the MMP contract and the data?
You do, from day one, including historical raw data. We work inside your accounts under named users. If the engagement ends we hand back a specification, a runbook and the reconciliation method, and remove our access. Nothing about leaving us should cost you your measurement history.
What reporting do we get?
A weekly written update that is a decision record rather than a dashboard screenshot, a monthly portfolio review including the bridge from platform numbers to your general ledger, and a quarterly re-audit. If a week produced no decision, the update says so in one line instead of filling a page.
Do you guarantee results?
No. Outcomes depend on your product, your pricing and your market, and most of that is not ours to move. A guarantee in this category is either priced into the fee or is not going to be honoured, and we would rather not open the relationship with either.
About this site
Why are there no case studies, client logos or testimonials?
Because we will not publish client names or performance figures our contracts do not let us publish, and we will not anonymise a chart into something you cannot verify. What we can do is walk through methodology in as much detail as you want on a call, under NDA if you prefer. The technical material on this site is there precisely so you have something checkable to judge us on instead.
Why is there no phone number?
We run on written briefs. A detailed email gets a considered answer from the person who would do the work; a phone queue gets you whoever picked up. Email info@goloporim.com and you will have a reply within one business day.
Does this site track me?
No. There are no analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party scripts and no cookies set by this site. The enquiry form does not post anywhere — it opens your own email client with the brief filled in. The privacy policy says the same thing at greater length.
